Saturday results, In the first game MBR vs Mass Premier MBR jumped out to a 31-19 first half time lead and never looked back with the final score of 61-33. Scoring For MBR Allaina Murphy 14, Katelyn DeRaps 11, Megan Coale 10, Hannah Knight 8, Michaela Stephenson 7, Lindsey Nolette 4, Whitney Moore 3, Chantelle Desjardins and Megan Pelletier each had 2. Megan Pelletier joined the team last week, Megan is from Winslow and will be in the class of 2012. Welcome to the team Megan and great job this weekend.

Game 2 Saturday: MBR vs Bay State Gators This was a very exciting game from start to finish. The Gators jumped out to a 32-25 halftime lead. This game was close the whole way and with 10 seconds left Chantelle Desjardins hit a 3 to tie the game and force overtime. In overtime it was all MBR outscoring the Gators 11-5. Megan Pelletier and Allaina Murphy led the team in scoring with 14 and 13 each. Katelyn DeRaps finished with 8 points going 8/8 from the line in overtime. Whitney Moore,Hannah Knight, and Lindsay Ranquist each had 6 with Michaela Stephenson and Lindsey Nolette scoring 4 a piece. Chantelle Desjardins finished with 3.

Game 1 Sunday: For some odd reason we played the Gators again, this time we did not fair as well MBR could not get the offense going. The Gators took 32-16 halftime lead. MBR fought back a couple of times in the second half to get within 5 but the Gators pulled away with a 50-35 win. Scoring for MBR Allaina Murphy 8, Katelyn DeRaps and Lindsey Nolette each had 6, Chantelle Desjardins 5, Megan Pelletier 4, Hannah Knight, Megan Coale, and Whitney Moore rounded out the scoring with 2 each.

Game 2 Sunday: MBR vs Mass Frenzy MBR led 24-17 at the half and finished with a 42-35 win. Scoring for MBR Katelyn DeRaps 11, Megan Pelletier 8, Hannah Knight 7, Lindsey Nolette 5, Allaina Murphy 4, Michaela Stephenson 3 , Chantelle Desjardins and Lindsay Ranquist each had 2. Great job this weekend girls and Coach Liburd. See everyone next weekend. Get some rest!!!

Sports Zone Results: This past weekend the MBR girls played in the Sports Zone Tournament in Derry,NH playing in the 14u/15u mixed division. MBR went 4-0.

In game 1 Saturday vs the Brattelboro Blaze from Vermont, MBR jumped out to a 31-13 half time lead and cruised to a 63-20 win. Scoring for MBR Katelyn DeRaps 13, Lindsey Nolette 11, Allaina Murphy 10, Megan Pelletier 10, Chantelle Desjardins 8, Megan Coale 7 and Linsay Ranquist finished with 4. Game 2 vs Eastern Mass Lightning we saw a similar style game with MBR once again jumping out to a big halftime lead of 35-16 and a final scoreof 62-33. Scoring for MBR Lindsay Ranquist 14, Allaina Murphy 12, Lindsey Nolette 8, Megan Coale and Chantelle Desjardins each had 7. Megan Pelletier 6 with Katelyn DeRaps and Whitney Moore scoring 4 a piece.

Sundays Games. Game 1 Vs the Brattelboro Blaze MBR led 32-13 at the half and won with the final score 58-41. Allaina Murphey led the team in scoring with 18, Lindsey Nolette 12, Megan Pelletier 10, Chantelle Desjardins 6, Lindsay Ranquest 4 , Katelyn DeRaps and Megan Coale each had 3 and Whitney Moore finished with 2. Game 2 vs the Central Vermont Chill Looked as though this game might be a close one with MBR leading only by 3 at the half 23-20. In the second half MBR'S defense kicked in and outscored the Chill 38-16 in the second half to beat the Chill 61-38.

Scoring for MBR Megan Pelletier 13, Allaina Murphy 10, Chantelle Desjardins 10, Katelyn DeRaps and Lindsay Ranquist each had 7 Michaela Stephenson 5, Lindsey Nolette 4, Megan Coale 3, and Whitney Moore had 2. Great job this weekend Girls and Coach Liburd.

Saturday results
In the first game MBR vs NH Lady Panthers, a very strong and physical Panthers team lead for most of the first half, until the last shot of the half put MBR up 22-21. MBR took the momentum in to the second half and opened the game up quickly leading to a 63-43 finish. MBR were Lead by Lindsay Ranquist 18, Megan Coale 9, Allaina Murphy, Lindsey Nolette, Chantalle Desjardins, and Mary Badeen with 8 points each Whitney Moore and Hannah knight adding 2 each.

Game 2 Saturday: MBR vs Sharks
In the second game of the day MBR faced the sharks from Vermont and once again started of slowly going into half time with a 34-14 lead due an individual 8 point run from new member Mary Badeen. MBR ended up not looking back after the half, winning the game 70-26. Seeing everybody on the score sheet once again, Lead by 13 points from chantalle Desjardins (all coming in the second half), Murphy 11, Badeen 10, Coale 8, knight and Nollete with 7 each, Michaela Stephenson who missed game one finished with 6, Moore with 5 and Ranquist with 3.

Sundays Games
Game 1: MBR vs Gray Lady Patriots
MBR broke away midway through the first, going into half time with a 30-16 lead. MBR defense held the patriots to 10 points in the second half leading to a final score of 66-26. MBR were lead by Allaina Murphy with 15, Desjardins and Ranquist added 8 each, Nollete 7, Stephenson, Badeen, Coale and Pelletier(Who played only on Sunday) each had 6, Moore and knight added 2 points each.
Scoring for the patriots: Clement and Samborn with 6, Moody, wilson and grant with 4 each and Edson with 2.

Game 2: MBR vs Northstars
The final game of the weekend proved to be the most challenging against the host. A well coached talented Northstars team took an early lead in the first half through disciplined offense and solid outside shooting. MBR rallied late in the first to go into the half with a 10 point lead, 29-19. A solid Defensive performance in the second half lead to MBR winning 46-30. MBR were lead by Murphy with 11, Stephenson and Pelletier with 7 each, Moore had 5, Badeen, Coale and Ranquist had 4 points each, Desjardins and knight with 2 each.
Scoring for the Northstars: Martin and England with 7 each, Davis 6, Nickerson 5, Parsons and Marrisaa with 2 each and Keeger 1.

Good weekend a lot achieved, glad to be a part of it.

Good Job Mary Badeen who proved to be a fantastic new addition and will be with us next weekend in New York, for the Gymrat Challenge
